The children in Year 6 have used the John Lewis as a stimulus for their English lessons. They were so inspired by the advert, that they decided to raise money for the residents of Bryn Y Care care home across the road. The children ran a bring and buy sale raising over £220. During their maths lessons, the children worked in groups to plan what they were going to buy and made a shopping list. They then went to the local Co-Op store and purchased a range of gifts for the residents which they have wrapped and are waiting to deliver them later this week. Well done to all of the year 6 children for demonstrating so many of our school values, particularly this month's value of kindness.
