Welcome to class 4D

 I am the class teacher, Mrs Delgado and we also have Mrs Barber  in the class to support us.

This week we have been finishing off our topic on Blood, Bones and Gory bits by making our own monsters. The children have been designing their monsters and have then recreated their monster using a variety of materials.

Next week we have a theme week and will be looking at the bible stories about Joseph and comparing it to Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical. The week will involve plenty of acting, singing as well as discussion work and language.

Homework

Homework will be given out every Friday and will be collected in on the following Wednesday, to allow time for it to be marked before being given out again on the Friday. Children will be given one piece of maths work and a spelling list with words to learn. We ask that the children copy these words out at least twice and then create at least 4 separate sentences using these words in context.

P.E.

P.E. will be every Tuesday afternoon. Please can you make sure your child has full P.E. kit (including trainers) as we go outside whenever possible. May I remind parents that children are not to wear jewellery to school other than stud earrings, and these must be removed for P.E. or covered with plasters to help avoid injury.
