Welcome to 3/4D's class page!

The class teacher is Mrs Delgado and the support teacher is Mrs Barber. Here is some information about our class and what we will be doing this term.

Our topic this term is 'Wonders of the World'. We will be learning about the Seven Modern Wonders of the World, as well as the ancient and natural wonders. The topic will cover many geography skills and we will be looking at the world map, finding locations and studying climates around the world. We will be building models of some of the statues, finding out information about each and creating factfiles using I.T. We will look at man-made structures around South Wales and will create our own Seven Wonders of South Wales. Our school trip will be travelling to the seven wonders we have chosen and sketching, photographing and reporting from the locations. It is an exciting and interesting topic which the children are very enthusiastic about.

Important information

Our PE day is Tuesday so children need to bring full PE kit - white t-shirt and black shorts and trainers. This term we are doing dance / gymnastics so they might not need trainers but bring them just in case.

Fruit is on sale every breaktime and is 20p per day. Children are in charge of their own money in KS2 so can keep the money in their bags and pay for the fruit themselves.

Please ensure your child brings their reading book every day. We aim to listen to each child twice a week - once during Group Reading and once individually. They also have 5 minutes reading time during registration time each morning.
