Croeso i 2EM, Welcome to 2EM

This year we have a class of 24 children and our teachers are Mrs. El-Shanawany and Mrs. Madge,  Mrs. Robertson is our classroom support and cover supervisor. During the week we also see Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. McCann.

Our topic this half term is Supermarkets. We have visited our local Sainsbury's supermarket. We have learnt about the 5 main food groups and about healthy eating, including making healthy sandwiches. We have created some Andy Warhol supermarket art which is on display in the classroom. We are continuing the topic this half term and will look at the history of supermarkets and carry out some scientific investigations into magnets and magnetism.

Last term we had our class assembly. Thank you to all of our mums and dads who came along to watch and support us.

Reminders

Our PE session is still on a Thursday so please bring PE kit ( black shorts and a white tee shirt) in a bag EVERY Thursday.

Please bring reading books (in a book bag) EVERY day and try to read at home as often as you can.  Please make a comment in your child's reading log and tell us how well your child has read.
