This spring term, we are delighted to launch our whole school theme 'Material Magic', a Science and Technology topic bursting with investigation and discovery. In Reception/Year 1 and Year 1/2D, children will explore 'Crazy Chemistry', a hands on journey into different materials and their properties. The term will begin with pupils predicting what they think will happen during a series of exciting experiments, before observing the results and discussing the science behind the changes they see. Through playful exploration, real life enquiry and lots of curiosity, our young chemists will learn how the materials all around us behave and why! We are looking forward to a term filled with wonder, questions and plenty of scientific surprises.
