All Change for House Points
After talking to the children in the summer term, it became evident that they would like a change to the house points system. Therefore after much discussion with pupils in class, a new system has been put into place. There will now be four houses linked to colours, which are named after Welsh islands. They are Caldey (white), Ramsey (blue), Lundy (yellow) and Skomer (red). House points may be awarded to pupils in years 1-6 for effort, enthusiasm, good manners etc. and winning will be recognised in Mr McNamara’s celebration assembly on Friday mornings.
At the end of the Autumn and summer terms, House Points Awards are given out which recognise and celebrate the childrens' achievements.
Houses also get the opportunity to compete in events such as the Eisteddfod and Sports day. The children also have the opportunity to take part in inter house Tag rugby and Netball competitions.
