Families at Brackla

Being a parent or guardian is the most important job a person can have and it can be the most challenging. At Brackla Primary School we offer a wide range of opportunities to help support you and your child.

Let's Get Moving!

Monday 9-11am

Come and join us for a gentle walk around Brackla and the surrounding area, we can even stop off for a cuppa! Everyone welcome.

Maths4Parents

Tuesday  9-11am

A great way to refresh your knowledge or start from scratch and be able to support your child with maths. Our lovely tutor from Bridgend College is there to help. Very informal and free refreshments provided. Younger siblings welcome.

 

Chill & Chat

Wednesday 9-11am

Come and join us for a cuppa and a chat! Look out for upcoming events and sessions for parents, as well as the Family Forum.  Our next Family Forum is Wednesday 5th June.  Younger siblings welcome.

 

Reading Cafe Year One

Thursday 1-2.30pm

An opportunity for year one parents to come along and share a story, complete a creative activity and ask any questions.

 

Big Cook/Little Cook Sessions Years Two & Three

Thursday 3.30-4.30pm (UPDATE - ALL SESSIONS ARE NOW FULL)

A cooking afterschool club session for parents and children to create some healthy meals and snacks.

 

New Nursery Parents Sessions (Starts 17th May)

Friday 10.30-11.30am - Morning Session

Friday 1-2pm - Afternoon Session

An opportunity for any new nursery parents to come along to these informal sessions to discuss the school day, routines and creating independence.
